And the Atari TOS from the '70s. Looked like Apple II desk top. Quite 
fast as it loaded from EPROM's. Way faster than my Mac Dual Core OS 
10 or Dual Core Vista PC today! But they went away. Had MIDI 
standard. Also had Basic in EPROM. I had three and gave them all away 
to college students to do their word processing. The Atari Works 
program was way ahead of it's counter parts of the day.

The Old Allied BBS ran on one of these.

Hmmm. None of the DEC GUIs??? The history rewrites most always remove 
the dominant players. I still have a VAXen in my basement. About once 
a years, I sit down there and watch it boot. It takes about 1/2 hour
