Tsunami advisory issued for Hawaii

HONOLULU (KHNL) - The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a
tsunami advisory for Hawaii after an earthquake off the Vanuatu
Islands. The magnitude 8.0 quake struck just after noon Hawaiian time.

According to the Center, if a tsunami was created, it would hit Hawaii
sometime around 6:50 PM.  (Thursday 12:50AM, Eastern or Thursday
04:50AM GMT)
