Wireless radio is the survivable component.
A couple of year's ago Springfield, IL was hit hard with a severe
tornado. Massive power outage caused newspaper to stop, phones out,
internet out, even the Springfield IEMA EOC staff ran out of food.
The only thing working was the Springfield radio stations.
Radio is the survivable component and the end of the world will be heard
over your AM radio station with you last set of good AA batteries as you
lay face down in the sand.
Have a good day.....

We're saying the same thing. When it comes to demanding data intense
distribution, the system will crumble when combined with all the other
heightened amount of traffic. It's that simple. Then comes the last
mile
from the CO to station. One fallen pole or washed out pedestal and the
station or cluster is an island unless they have a RF ISP based close to
the CO.
