Yes. That's why I use the TV's tuner for local and major network 
programming. I have no choice but DirecTV for the non-broadcast 
channels. The local cable system is Charter. I'm surprised they can 
squash a single channel through that wire. They're now paying more 
attention to the Internet and phone service.

Thank God for Netflix with their huge selection of Blu-Ray discs. 
Most are 1080P. They had to stop using Bondo for makeup because of 
the resolution.
