[BC] They don't even cover it up anymore

Today, Friday, October 2, 2009, one day before my 63rd birthday.

I spent most of this week getting ready for a job interview at Cisco. Their facility in Boxboro was a long commute, but I even drove the route during normal commuting time to find out how long it would take to drive the 38.4 miles. It took slightly less than an hour. An employment agency was trying to place me at a position they advertised and I knew that the position was a good fit, for which my qualifications were excellent. I reviewed the history of Cisco so that I would be knowledgeable about the company and I reviewed many on-line articles about Cisco as well as product advertisements and even some customer complaints. I tried to find out, as much about the company as I could so my interview would be successful.

The agency called around noontime and stated Cisco's response, "I was too senior."
