 That doesn't have anything to do with what the disk might be.
 ANY disk will trash under that kind of system failure.

 I've used the Promise. It's a proprietary addressing scheme though.

 RAID-0 can provide almost 4 times the throughput of a single disk, but
 offers no protection against data loss.
