Going through the rocker switch will affect Z a small amount, variable with 
the way the connections are dressed  and laid out.
 Resistance of the coax is not a factor; any length terminated in its rated 
R will still measure its rated R at the other end; an infinite length wll 
still measure its rated R   (This is Coax 101.) Unless it's defective, of 
course..........<g>
