We can suppose it from now until the cows come home, but if you
simply look at the curves in the NAB Handbook you will see that
is not happening. In fact, if you consult most of the available
literature you will quickly conclude a radiator with an effective
electrical height of 180 degrees will have maximum base impedance
in a self-supporting tower design. It is remotely possible that
you might be able to construct a vertical radiator having a base
resistance between 1300 and 1500 ohms, but 5000 ohms - maybe in
a parallel universe with somewhat different constants, but not
in this one. <g>
