i was at the ATU and i had one of the workers turning the transmitter off  
and on at low power as i changed the input coil taps. as the reflected got  
smaller i had him increase the transmitter output. till we got to full power and  
little or no reflected.
as i said this baby hums along, i guess i could teach it words.

How did you tune it for min reflected?  Does it have the  matching 
network?  My AM-1a's are all barefoot, therefore  untunable.

AM-1a's are a great little box!  I think they  were bred by the 
Energizer Bunny  ;-)
