A few years back one of the speakers (Don Markley?) did an informal survey
at the Broadcasters Clinic where we had a good mix of radio and TV people.

There did seem to be a preponderance of daughters among those present, but
not evenly divided among the various services. It seemed that guys who had
worked around full-power UHF TV stations seemed to have the most consistent
ratio of more girls than boys in the offspring count.

Just one of those things that makes you say "hmmm"...
