[BC] Life at the transmitter shack

During the years the kids were conceived/born/raised, our home was on a
ridge with three 100 kW ERP FMs and full power TVs on channels 3, 7 & 9. A
homebuilt field strength meter, comprised of a HP2800 hot-carrier diode, 100
uA meter and about a foot of antenna would peg, most anywhere in the house.

We have two daughters. Both in good health and both graduated from an
engineering school. One has a MSEE. Both are very intelligent (enough to
make me both jealous and proud) and have good jobs. No grandkids as of yet.
My wife and I are, thank the Good Lord, in good health. Most of our dogs &
cats have lived to a ripe old age.

We remain in the same house now bathed in RF from six FM and four TV
stations. There may be something to this daughter thing. :-)

" Any comments? Any of you have kids at a transmitter site? Any of
you born at a transmitter site?
What power level/Freq.?
thanks.
