[BC] The last of the tube 1000 watt transmitters

Wasn't the 828C1 Power Rock (later Continental 314R1) their last tube 
1 kW? It had a single 3-500Z class S (PDM) modulator with a pair of 
the same for RF. I think it was circa 1980 or 79.
