[BC] Tubes and chips (McMartin BA-1K)

My all time favorite tube transmitter is the McMartin BA-1K. It is the ONLY tube box I would have, and I still love the looks of it. I've been searching for a working McMartin BA-1K for over 12 years now and I can't find one for sale. I call Charlie Goodrich and didn't have one for sale.

If it didn't cost so much to maintain, (tubes, AC bill) I run it fulltime vs. having a solid state box. This is just a personal thing. If one comes up for sale, & I catch it, I'm going to buy it and will pay top dollar for it. I love that box.

I just sent a check off today where I bought a McMartin B-502 console. Can't wait to get it. I love McMartin gear!

If someone posted that they had a McMartin BA-1K for sale, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat, as long as it is in good working condition, of course.
