[BC] Netbooks and audio

Just had a hairbrained scheme pop into my forebrain. As a portable
newsgathering device with extras (AND XP in many cases) this might be the
ticket, as its approaching an ideal size.<<

The few netbooks I've seen don't have very good audio systems (I'm sure the microscopic speakers are the biggest drawback), but for doing voice-only work to be played back elsewhere they might be adequate.
