The hams are well aware of the danger here, from the BPL fiasco. If  
you start talking in terms of $$$ per message sent, then all usable  
spectrum should be devoted to digital traffic monopolized by the big  
common carriers who can afford to pay off the guv'mint.

Look how many more cell phone communications could be shoveled into  
944 to 952!

Or some kind of new wireless internet service in 450~451; 455~456.

Especially when we have a government that is for sale to the highest  
bidder, and an FCC run by an internet guru, with advisors who are from  
the keyboard generation (if you can't do it with a keyboard & a mouse  
it ain't worth doing).
