Thanks Willie! Your story and mine are similar, except I was a Christian 
before I was a radio junkie.

Radio is still fun - usually - even though I've been on-call 24/7 since 1995.

One night in 1996 driving home from Portsmouth to Cincinnati, I hit a deer. 
When the tow truck driver learned that I was the engineer for WPAY, I 
received Red Carpet treatment. WPAY, a full 'C' then, was the only station 
he could pick up everywhere he went. We talked about his favorite jocks, 
etc., all the way to Cincinnati.
