   I read in QST magazine 5 or 10 years ago about a boy that passed his
"general" test a week before his 6th birthday.  His dad and granddad were
HAMS also.  I do not recall if he had to pass any code tests or not.
I've told this story to many adults that expressed doubt about being
able to pass the HAM tests.
   When I was 6 I don't think I knew what letters or numbers were, let along
be able to read.
