I am of the "Old School" and this morning I came in to the station, and I was reaching for round knobs, when the board here at my station has sliders, and I even had coffee this morning. I must have been dreaming!
Does anybody have a good ole "BE", "Gates (solid state)", "Arrakis", etc. that is a "MONO" console for sale that has "REAL KNOBS" on it, and it would be greater if just one meter move for program, like on the old Spotmaster/BE Consoles? I want a "good ole" AM Radio Station board!
My current board is a 8 channel, Stereo, Dyanmax, with slide faders, Model MX8E & still supported by Sandies, Inc. It's a great console, but for an AM station, naaaaaa, I want the real "old time" thing I grew up with in my late teens and twentys, a good old momo, AM Console. I checked Ebay, nothing there I would have.
So folks, if you got one of these consoles that would be great for an AM station, with at least 6 to 8 round pots, contact me off list.
Thanks!
Scott
