Yup, from building a Philmore (remember that name?) two tube AM receiver in 
the mid-50s, to taming Zeus and Thor the FM40K system at WPAY, to learning 
the acronyms of IBOC and something of the data packets swimming around 
between importers/exporters/exgines, I've gone from hot solder to byte 
headers. (I prefer hot solder!)

I wonder how many of us here have burned out how many brain cells on the 
esoterikos of ITC Premium cart machines, Panasonic DATS, hot wiring Sparta 
consoles on-air, and burning white spots on our fingers from the occasional 
110VAC on a dusty Christmas tree deep under a console??
