This was actually made by Raytheon for RCA. We used one set for
a permanent STL at WATR-TV Waterbury, CT. It used the same kind
of reflex klyston for the TX as it did for the local oscillator
of the RX. It transmitted FM on 3.010 KMC (sic) and it would
sometimes mode-jump to 3.005 or 3.015 KMC. I would recycle the
TX and RX when it happened. Otherwise it was reliable and
stable.
