What I am finding fascinating is that MOST of these
responses are indicating that they got their start while in
their teens, sometimes early teens. That goes for me, too.
My first day in radio was to turn on a 250 watt
transmitter a week after I graduated from high school.
By turning on the rig, Albuquerque could hear the
coronation of the queen of England. May 1953.
810s modulating 810s. Sigh. Good old days . . .
