[BC] How we got our first break in radio....

	I became interested in Electronics during a high school physics class.  As a poor boy with a small band I couldn't afford much in the way of amps and thought I might build one.  Wrong.  I went off to college on scholarships to become a music teacher.  Ran into a guy there who told me about the college radio station and he thought I'd fit in.  He was right, and within two years I gave up the idea of becoming a music teacher.  I got a summer replacement job at WBUF Buffalo and when that was over went full time as a DJ news man for a while until Vietnam stepped in.  4 years in the AF teaching electronic intelligence, back to radio DJ 2 years then Radio / TV news 2 more years.  Got sick of TV news so managed a Radio Shack for a couple years and worked as a photographer for a couple more, but came back in to broadcasting as a part time Chief in radio and full time control room op in TV.  Two years later, 30+ years ago,  went full time Radio engineer and haven't looked back.
