[BC] Dumb Listeners

We were having a staff meeting one day when the phone rang and our
receptionist answered it and immediately we could all here this lady
screaming and complaining and when we finally got her calmed down we
realized she was looking for the local PBS station and we informed her we
were not a part of them and gave her their phone number.  Seems the board op
the previous night had decided to watch some porn while on duty and instead
of the evening of information about animals the audience was given a rather
graphic show of porn for almost 30 minutes.  No idea what happened to the
employee (I'm sure he was fired) but there were a lot of upset people that
this had aired in the 8 o'clock hour when kids were watching.

I had a caller last week think that our radio station was the educational
television station in town.  He was having DTV reception issues.  He knew
our call sign but thought we were the same as them.  I mentally snickered
and just helped him figure out how to get their DTV signal.  The good news
is I have had quite a bit of phone support experience recently with subject
as our local SBE volenteerly answered phones during the analog sunset/DTV
tests.  It turns out he was able to re-scan and correct the problem.
Hopefully he sends his check HERE if he gives! LOL!
