The Channel Master 4228HD (an 8-bay UHF bowtie) reportedly works well
on high-band VHF; a ham friend of mine is using this with good
results.  Also check the reviews of this antenna on Amazon and other
sites.

Here's a handy signal prediction website which generates an azimuth
plot to the various TV transmitters.  It also takes path obstructions
into account (it tells you how many knife-edges are along the way):

The companion site www.fmfool.com provides similar data for local FM stations.
