I have stayed at Circus Circus several times, and it's convenient -- park on
the third level of the parking garage, and walk straight in to the mezzanine
and take the escalator down to the lobby. Your van would never make it into
the parking garage, however -- the top of my 2-meter glass-mount antenna
scraped the overhead.

half-mile from there to the North Hall. I usually take the shuttle back at 5
p.m.

The Manor rooms are sub-par, but, as you said, close to the shuttle stop.
The Tower rooms are nicer, however. They used to have a good Mexican
restaurant, the Blue Iguana, but that has been changed into a
Mixican-Italian place called ... Mexitalia! Not so good.

I had a rate of $85 on Monday and Tuesday, $35 on Wednesday through Friday
of that week. Haven't booked yet, though.
