	We look forward to having you all visit our fine city.  The hotel rates are the lowest I've seen in the ten years I've been here.  Bargains in food are all over the place if you look and are willing to walk a little.

	Once again this year, On behalf of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur club, we invite all visiting hams to use our 146.94 (minus offset, 100hz tone) located just above the convention center on the Hilton and the 448.500 (minus offset, 100hz tone) located on the Tropicana at Tropicana and the strip.  They are NOT linked this year since we are in the middle of some improvements that may not be done by NAB.

	The LVRAC meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM and this year that falls during NAB.  We will be having a special program by Bob Heil and Chip Margolis and everyone is invited.  We meet at the Salvation Army building near Charleston and Rancho.  I'll put together a map for anyone interested soon.

	Another couple of quickies, a great many of the service people at the hotels and restaurants live on their tips, so be as generous as possible, and Las Vegas is in  Clark county which is NOT one of the NV counties with Legal Prostitution.  The HIV rate in the Illegal hookers is over 75%.

	I'll have to pass on those who'd like a quick trip up Mt. Potosi during the convention, since it's a minimum four hour round trip by 4x4 IF the snow is gone.  Catch me some other time.
