Sorry about that.

The Instreamer is sbing sued to generate the 160 kbps MP3 streams. The AAC
ones are being generated in the compuyer itself using Winamp and the Shoutcast
plug-in for it.
That's what I needed the patch cord for-to feed the digital output of the
sound card back into its input so Winamp could get the audio.

I also did my weekly reboot a few minutes ago, so everything was down.

The following streams are now up:

http://barix.b2netsolutions.com:8000
http://barix.b2netsolutions.com:8010
Both of these are 160 kbps VBR streams genberated by an Instreamer 100.

http://barix.b2netsolutions.com:8020
This is a 48 kbps AAC+ stream generated by Winamp/Shoutcast.

http://barix.b2netsolutions.com:8030
This is a 96 kbps AAC+ stream generated by Winamp/Shoutcast

All of these streams have the same music playing and all are processed
(lightly) by the Breakaway Personal multiband audio processor software (using
a custom setting I came up with after much experimentation).

OK, I'm confused. Is the Barix box streaming in AAC+? I was under the
impression that they could receive it, but not send it. It would certainly be
a
great add on for the Instreamer.
