When there is dead air and the PD asks, I quip, "Was that not the library 
sponsored silence?"  Reply look...deer-headlights.  Lights on-no one home 
for a few short seconds.  Then I run like @#$.....

I heard the basis of that line on WMAQ in the late 70's after 30 seconds of 
nothing.  The talent came on and said, "That moment of silence was brought 
to you by the Chicago Public Library." I looked at the guy I was with and 
said only in a major market would someone come up with that on the fly.
