My favorite TSA/security story.

A month or two after 9/11 I was in the process of moving from Barrow to
Anchorage. I am a firearms collector and instructor and was moving my
collection to Anchorage five firearms at a time which was the limit of
Alaska Airlines. The terminal was full of tourists and locals. When
the National Guard guys on duty---this was before TSA took over, looked
at my four pistols and my Ruger #1 tropical in ,375 H&H. They got
handed around and commented on. When I was walking across the tarmac in
Anchorage I heard two women who had seats in back of me. "Mildred, I
feel really secure now. That nice man in front of us must be a sky
marshall, and he has FIVE guns". Of course she did not realize that
they were all in the baggage compartment.
