OK -- I have a Sony MDS-E11 that, when you put in a disc, it sits there for
a few seconds and spits it out, with a DISC ERROR message.  The owners
manual says that means the disc is defective.  I have tried a brand-new
disc, and some that work in our other MD machines.  So I don't think it is a
disc problem.  Has anyone else run into this problem, or should this unit be
sent off to that great big radio station in the sky?  (A/K/A the recycling
yard.)
