Hmm. That's one thing I hadn't considered - that Schlessinger would
be a threat to safe motoring. I'll have to check if and when she's
on in this market and make sure I'm safely at home during the danger
hours. The state hasn't passed a hands-free law for cell phones but
I'll bet we could get a Schlessinger-free law passed in a few hours.
The woman should have gotten a citation for DWI. Driving Without
Intelligence. With this revelation, texting while driving seems
perfectly safe on a relative scale.
If I had been the cop I might have shot the driver on sight to ensure
the safety of fellow citizens. I would have been promoted to Police
Commissioner. To paraphrase Lloyd Bentson: "I worked with Paul
Harvey. I knew Paul Harvey. Paul Harvey was a friend of mine. You,
lady, are no Paul Harvey."
