I still want to know what kind of mic Art Linkletter used when interviewing
out in the audience. It is my guess that it was a tube type condenser mic
(Well, it was a long time ago) as he always held it wrapped in a folded
handkerchief.
It consisted of two conical sections similar to a later Altec dynamic, but a
bit fatter, and was black.
I've never seen it in old catologues or magazine ads.......................
