On the topic of microphones, would anyone know what make & model microphone was the classic 70's "Gene Rayburn Match Game" TV mic? (www.tvsquad.com/images/2005/12/generayburn.jpg)  It was a long-neck handheld mic that Gene held down near his waist, with the mic head coming up just below his chin. 

I was at a hamfest last Sunday in Annandale VA., and bought a vintage Sony telescoping electret mic which, by all appearances and function, has to be the very same model. If it is, I got a great bargain - the guy wanted $40 for it and I paid much less. Even if it isn't the same model, less than $40 for a functioning Sony electret mic is a pretty good buy in my book.
