[BC] Platinum-Z problem

Not exactly NO reason. In addition to SMD caps, those
boards also have SMD inductors with a VERY low DC current
rating. ANY foreign matter - deceased bug carcass for
example - across the traces can blow an inductor with
very unpredictable results.
