a 'sealed' bearing by definition cannot be greased externally

if it has INTEGRAL seals, there is no reason for a fitting

now if you are talking about a separate seal, between the bearing and the
'outside world', I suppose it is possible to damage it

but external seals of that type are generally designed to let the excess
ooze out between shaft and seal, that's how you know when to quit
