[BC] Wind and STL Mutes

Has anyone talked to Moseley?
This is of some interest.
I have occasional drops due to ducting (30 mile path over Everglades), 
the old analog would drop, too.
But have not noticed anything (yet) with high winds.  Low humidity and 
static charge a factor?
