[BC] Sound card question (ASI-4300)

Hello, all. And, thanks for the replies.

I've tried everything with this stupid card. (Including intentionally using
the wrong driver, just to see what happens.) I worked with it until nearly
5AM, this morning (which is the reason for my not responding until so late,
today).

At the risk of seeming somewhat stupid, where would a person access the
buffer settings? These setting don't appear to be accessible directly
through either the card or Simian 

BTW, the card (more exactly) is an ASI 4312. (It is of the 4300 series.)
