         Mark,

         I've heard the Turtle Beach cards recommended
         in the past as having good performance and
         modest (< $100) cost.

         At CES, I spent a few minutes with the Turtle
         Beach people, talking about broadcasters' needs,
         and the guys in the booth pointed out the
         "Montego DDL"  and "Riviera" cards.  I can't
         immediately find my notes, but the Riv card
         is 5.1 and the Montego DDL is 7.1 with Dolby.

         Hope that is useful.
