Sorry, but anyone who is unhappy with Micro$oft and hasn't gone to
another operating system only has themselves to blame.

Unix was maybe a little hard to use, but useable for 30 years.

Linux has been easy for 15, give or take, and GUI Linux, like Ubuntu,
for five or more. One could argue that it wasn't ready for the
office enviornment for secritarial help until it had a GUI interface,
but it is here now.

Apple has been around forever, but one could argue that it really
came alive with OS X (pronounced Ten, as in the Roman Numeral) in
2001 (as I recall). Apple is the machine of choice for advertising
agencies, graphics artists, lay up people, and photographers. As
video on the computer has developed, the Mac is the machine of choice
there as well.

Open Office works on all three platforms, and M$ Word under OS X is
MUCH better and much faster than under Windoz.

Oh, and you CAN run Windoz on a Mac. I found that even in a M$
Exchange based office, with everyone running Windoz, a Mac works just
fine, and I never need the IT people, unless it is as a lunch companion.

I know there are some engineering tools which only operate under
Windoz, and I have been forced into using them, but that is rare.

If Micro$oft is making you miserable, make a change. I did and I
don't look back.
