[BC] a special re-radiator

" The thought occurs... What if someone were to erect a vertical element
close to the monitor point and set a detuning network to reduce the reading
at the point? Put it on a direct line back to the transmitter site.
Wouldn't it be possible to cheat and make that work? I don't think it would
be that hard to do and certainly very hard to detect."

After trying for a week to tune up a 10Kw Night array, our consultant found
that the one troublesome radial appeared to pull right in and he was
overjoyed.

About a month later while taking night array monitor point measurements, I
noticed the troublesome radial was back up and over the limit again. I also
noticed the absence of construction cranes at the newly built Hospital. };>)

The consultant couldn't get the array back in after months of additional
tweaking. The construction crane evidently was part of the array during
tune-up.

Eventually we opted for 5Kw Night operation and gave up.
