One possibility is to model the sidebands at discrete frequencies - or 
include a routine to sweep the desired bandwidth.  Either method would 
show pattern bandwidth, I'd think.  Discrete frequencies say at 500 Hz 
intervals from - 10 kHz to + 10 kHz.....
