I think they're counting on repeat business from customers who lose the
microSD cards. They're really small! So, a user is going to carry around a
pocket full of these things so they have several albums with them? And,
they'll be encoded MP3 instead of the uncompressed as on a CD.  And, I
expect they'll cost more (I suspect flash memory is more expensive than
CD). It appears this is a method of selling music to people who have
cellphones and can't figure out how to download to them. I dunno... I
still buy CDs and rip them myself to put in whatever. However, I've never
bought a whole lot of CDs (and never bought a music download). Instead, I
generally listen to the radio...
