Agreed.  But Sprint is EVDO (IMHO faster).
If you do it right, you can use this unlimited access with a smart phone,
like a Treo Palm, and get +1M download speed to your laptop,
without the need for an additional line or data card (I
think adding unlimited data to a smart phone is like $15 a month).  And it
is amazing how many areas are covered.  I hear from my AT&T friends that
they have a hard tome getting 3G on AT&T.
I could not imagine if I got capped at a certain level of data.  I would be
POOR.  I often use my Sprint service instead of office LANs for access to my
laptop.  Works great at most transmitter sites too.

That and Palm VNC is an awesome tool :-D
