I don't profess to be an audio expert, however,
the first step is to define your needs. What do
you want to do? Record bands? Talks shows?
How many guests? What size room do you have?
What kind of features do you want (sound effects,
compression, etc)? How long will the sessions be
and for what length of time must they be stored?
I assume you would be recording on computer
so backup is an issue as well as UPS. Many questions
before answers...
