Maybe radio stations should get into the music business.  The
station's playlists can be shown on the web site, together with
links to a web shop where the music can be bought.

The station does not have to operate that web shop, but could
make money off referrals instead.

One nice side effect is that this model gives stations an 
incentive to play music that people do not own yet, instead
of playing the same playlist over and over again.
