One of my favorite songs.  The 80s rock.

As of 20 months ago when I last programmed an R&R reporting
CHR, the phone rang regularly with 6-7 calls a day from
promo people.  Usually a few stops a week from promo folks
passing through.  This in a 100+ market.  

I can only imagine that the guys in the bigger cities had far 
more contacts than I.

But again, 20 months is a long time in this business, so 
perhaps I am in the words of the Hall & Oates song you
quoted.
