It's been to many years ago that I was at the home of the "Two Gun Towers"
right down the Highway from one of of the largest and stinkiest feed lots in
Colorado. I do remember how "delightful" the air smelled on those Summer
Afternoons when the wind was coming from the West .. A million time worst
than I remembered my Uncle's cow barn smelling on a ripe Connecticut summer
afternoon.
Anyway
There was a passive RF reflector of some type on the self supporter. I
think Chuck Springer once told me that the RF reflector was there to
deflect the STL shot to the FM site because there wasn't a straight shot
from the small tower behind the studio, but that was so long ago I could
be wrong.
There was also a base station antenna on that 20' behind the station for
the Marti.
But there wasn't a UHF antenna on either the Self Supporting main tower or
the shorter guyed parasitic tower when I was there.
Next time you drive by snap a pick and maybe we can figure it out or perhaps
if Chuck Springer is on this list he may have an answer. I'll Ping Paul
Widlund who was there early on as well
to see if Paul has memory on it.

OK I noticed years ago (and its still there after driving thru recently)
what appears to be a UHF tv antennae on top of KLMR's AM tower. Does
anyone know what that is and if it was an early experiment in TV?
