Or not. The New York Times, 8 March 1925, said WMCA was being forced
to discontinue broadcasting temporarily to await the assignment of a
new frequency. It said the one they had first used (428 meters)
conflicted with WSB in Atlanta and so WMCA had been moved to 302
meters, but that too conflicted with some other station, so as of the
date of the article, they were at 258 meters and not happy about it.
they were asking the Dept of Commerce to let them move back to 428
meters and work things out with WSB. The Dept of Commerce said no,
and according to the 29 March 1925 NY Times, the station got moved to
341 meters. Bottom line-- doesn't sound to me like they were at that
just one frequency since 1922...
