WMCA actually started in 1925, and on 880 kc. It moved to 810 the next
year, then in 1928 went to a sharetime with WNYC on 570 (WNYC was there
first, beginning in 1924!)

WMCA finally got 570 to itself in 1933 when it moved WNYC up the dial to
daytime-only operation on 810. (Later 830, now 820.)
