One, would it kill these people to email some suggested settings to the studio ahead of the broadcast? If not model-specific (Symetrix vs Behringer vs PreSonus etc), at least preferred mic, EQ and compression settings? When I do stage work, traveling companies always send a lighting plot a week before they arrive. Where is there a difference here?

And two, we have a saying where I come from: Never tick off the one guy who knows where the Off switch is.
